Expo & Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup Info

Please arrive at the Runners Expo to pick up your packet during the hours listed above. Please have your registration QR code ready to scan in. We strictly stick to the pickup window due to our contract with the Wilmington Convention Center. However, we understand some may experience extenuating circumstances.

Can’t make it to packet pickup?

We allow friends or family to do it for you.

If you are only able to pick up your packet on the morning of the race, there is a $20 fee. You can purchase this option at our online store. If you purchased this option, you will receive separate directions about where to pick up your bib on race day.

When you come for packet pickup, get into the line that corresponds with your race distance. Your bib number will be issued at the expo.

To reduce congestion at the expo on Friday, we ask that all one-mile runners and anyone in town on the Thursday prior to race day pick up their packets that day.

Parking

Downtown Wilmington offers plenty of parking near the Convention Center. Want to get a little closer? The parking deck connected to the convention center is an excellent choice. Parking lots are fee based and there are meters in most parking spaces.

Please do not park illegally.

Registration and Transfers

You can register at the expo IF the race is not sold out. You can also transfer your registration to another runner, upgrade, or downgrade to another race. There is a $10 transfer fee. Head over to the CHANGES table when you arrive.

Medical Care

Novant Health works closely with local First Responder agencies to provide on-course and finish line medical care. The Finish Line will host a major and minor medical tent, staffed by doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, and other clinical and nonclinical volunteers.

Kinesiology

Free Kinesiology Taping

The Novant Health Rehabilitation Team is excited to offer free kinesiology taping at the Expo on Friday, February 23 from 12pm to 7pm.

What is KT Taping?

Kinesiology tape is a stretchy tape mostly made of a blend of cotton and nylon. The tape has medical grade adhesive, is water resistant and may stay on for up to three days or more. Kinesiology tape involves placing strips of special tape on the body in specific directions to help improve your mobility and support joints, muscles, and tendons. The tape has a variety of benefits. It can assist with muscle function and normal movement, improve blood flow, and support the joint being taped. Risks of skin taping may include: skin irritation or allergic reaction to the adhesive.
