Fleet Feet DOWNTOWN 5k

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and experience the charm of our downtown coastal community. This race is 3.1 miles and takes place in downtown Wilmington, NC. Not interested in a long-distance race? This event is for you. The manageable course is mostly flat, allowing you to improve your skills and participate in the fun. Starting at the Live Oak Bank Pavillion, you will loop around Sawmill Point Marina and enter the Wilmington Riverwalk for the first mile. You will run alongside the Cape Fear and through Downtown Wilmington heading into mile two. For mile three, you’ll run along Front Street, which loops around the beautiful Riverfront Park ending at Live Oak Bank Pavillion.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a relaxing run, this event is perfect for all levels of experience. You’ll be treated to river front views and a historic downtown backdrop. The route winds through the heart of our charming coastal town, taking you past historic landmarks and lively waterfront cafes. After the finish, you can celebrate with fellow runners while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of our beach community and weekend activities.
