Over the first 3 years of the Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Half and Full Marathon, almost $100,000 has been donated to various charities that are involved with the race. The Landfall Foundation and the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation have been the main beneficiaries. Smaller volunteer groups such as Laney High School and The Leukemia and Lymphoma society and other small groups have also been donated too for volunteering for the race. Laney High School provided over 200 volunteers for the 2012 race and received $3000.00 for their efforts.
